Skip2bfit Sept 18
As part of keeping active all the children in Key Stage 1 and Reception have been given their own skipping rope to be kept at school.
On Tuesday 25th Sept Key Stage 1 children were introduced to the 2 minute challenge by Skip2bfit. The instructor, David inspired both staff and children to skip for 2mins non-stop. The skipping ropes used for the sessions had counters so the children were able to see how many skips they managed to do within the 2mins. After a rest period, the children were asked to skip again for another 2mins to see if they could beat their previous score or otherwise known as ‘Personal Best’.
Congratulations to Glenn who beat Mr Mead at the 2mins challenge at a skip-off during the celebration assembly at the end of the day. Well done to all the children and staff who received certificates for skipping the most skips in 2mins.
