Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the Ferrars Academy.  I was privileged to work at Ferrars for a number of years before I took over as Principal. 

The Ferrars Academy is a very forward thinking school where we are constantly evolving, our new extension means we are able to facilitate a wider range of intervention groups to specifically target your children’s needs and our ‘Round room’ provides a super multi purpose space for the children, parents and community.

We offer children a safe, secure and stimulating environment in which to learn. The school’s positive ethos both supports and encourages children – it helps them to be confident, develop their talents and to achieve. This, coupled with an inspiring curriculum and highly effective teaching, enables children to flourish and reach their full potential; academic standards at the Academy are high and we are very proud of what the children achieve as individuals.  In our caring and happy atmosphere everybody matters and the contributions made by all members of our school community are highly valued.

The biggest strength of the school is, of course, the children. They are polite, enthusiastic and incredibly well behaved.  It is a pleasure spending time with them.
