Road Safety Week

It was Road Safety week the week beginning 16^th November. The children started the week by having an assembly to introduce what road safety is, safe places to cross, the green cross code and how to be safe near the road. The teachers were very impressed by the children’s knowledge!

Throughout the week the children had the opportunity to use the model road equipment, the bikes and scooters to practise what they knew about road safety. They practised following the signs and finding safe spaces to cross. The children also took part in a poster competition. The winners were:

Soloman – White Class

Sara K – Green Class

Zyron – Pink Class
