Storytelling Week February 2021
Children both at school and at home had a fantastic time participating in the Storytelling Week activities. Lots of children helped us to solve the crime and identified Goldilocks as the suspect! The children in school and at home engaged in lots of cooking activities. The children in Reception wanted to make and taste their own porridge just like the three bears.
Thank you to all of those who entered the competition and congratulations to the winners, we hope you had fun spending your Amazon vouchers. Well done to, Mylesh (Nursery) Maya (Nursery) Ethan and Katie (Nursery and Purple Class) Ali (Red Class) Tasmiya and Inaaya (Blue and Purple Class) Jaison (Turquoise Class) Aliza (Green Class) Ennis (Turquoise Class) Aatheesh (Green Class) Gabriela (Purple Class).
We hope you enjoyed starting your morning with a Secret Storyteller, the staff thoroughly enjoyed seeing you all on Zoom and telling you a story in a creative way. Have you tried to tell your own stories at home yet? As you saw not all storytelling involves holding and reading a book. Please continue to read books and engage in storytelling with your children to help them to continue to develop a love of reading. Keep up the reading!
