Down Under Day 2020

On Monday the 27th January, we celebrated 'Down Under Day'. It was an opportunity for children to learn about all things Australian.  Children learnt about the effects of the fires on humans, animals and the environment. They also took part in activities such as creating aboriginal art, making their own didgeridoos and creating Australian animal fact files.
The purpose of this day was to raise money towards fighting the current Australian Bushfires. To raise money children were encouraged to bring in their own special toy animal. Money was also raised through a cake sale.
Thank you for all your support we managed to raise £448.11!
